A little bit about us...

In 2011, Tracy followed her dreams and opened Something Sweet, the cute little bakery and coffee shop next door. But what most people didn’t know about her is that besides her love of baking, she is passionate about animals, cats in particular. She has 4 cats at home and several “grand cats”. All of the cats in her family are rescues, which Tracy firmly believes is the only way to have any animal.

When the space next to Something Sweet became available for rent, Tracy decided to expand her business but wasn’t 100% set on just what. She had visited a cat cafe in another state and her daughter had also talked about the idea. After researching and studying the idea, Tracy decided to go that route, but only if it could be done in a way to benefit, not exploit, the cats.

On February 9, 2021
Something Pawsitive
became a reality.

Although Tracy loves all of the cats, she does not have the resources and time to be the sole care provider for the cats. Something Pawsitive partners with Ozzie’s Legacy. Ozzie’s is a non-profit rescue group based in Paragould. They actually take in the cats and get them 100% vetted meaning they are spayed/neutered, all shots, dewormer and have had a flea treatment before coming to Something Pawsitive. So basically Something Pawsitive is a large foster home where people can come to visit the cats, get to know them and if they fall in love with one, then choose adoption. Which is our goal, to find all the cats their purrfect furrever home.

Ozzie's Legacy

We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue, started in memory of our first take in, Ozzie. He inspired us to continue on with helping animals in need. This is his legacy.

Locations

Ozzie's is based out of Paragould, Arkansas and relies primarily on fosters. We have fosters in Paragould, Rector, Marmaduke, Evening Star, Brookland, and Standford.

We are foster based and rely solely on donations and fundraisers. Ozzie's Legacy has amazing fosters and volunteers but are always looking to grow in size and efficiency.
